We have istalled the CE7.2 evaluation version on windows XP (SP3). However we cannot start the server, whe we try to start it, we get the following error message:

503 Service not available

2. when open the management console > As Java Process tables - we see that the ICM runs proprely but server0 is stopped and the exit code is 1 (forced shutdown case)

We want to develop code in webdynpro Java under NWDS 7.3 which would be incoporated under a track.

Could any one please let me know the supporting component which need to be added in track ? I am taking about the BUILD,JTECH.

Hi,

i am currently testing to deploy a BPM Process from the NWDS into a SAP System. It ends up by showing an error:

com.sap.ide.eclipse.deployer.api.APIException: Could not retrieve deployment system configuration for ZBA. Please check if the system is running.

Do I need to have an SDM running on the system to deploy BPM processes?

I already tried to start it with the following instructions: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/de/6b/21f76f97194759961502b50dfd5f21/content.htm

Unfortunately, I could not find any SDM related process neither in the SAP Management Console nor in the file hierarchy.

We have intially installed the single instance (J00) with the SCS instance on a single hostname  in the SAP NW CE 7.2

Then we have installed another instance (J02) .

(i.e )

Qc1 --> Host

SCS01 -- SCS

J00 -- Application Server

J02 -- Application Server  (additional )

After installing the another additional application server , after making a restart , when i try to acess the url : http ://host :portnumber .

Suddenly it cannot able to reach the port number : 50000

When i checked in jsmon , its not allowing me to check the process .

Its giving the below error :

   JsfOpenShm failed: object not found

  Cannot access shared memory.

Kindly suggest for the solution .

I have a problem configuring SLL client certificate authentication for NW CE 7.1

I've configured ICM to use SSL and set VCLIENT = 1 in the Java instance profile:

After that I could create SSL-connection to the server using its server certificate.

Then I've tried to add some root CAs for client certificates to the ICM_SSL_<instance> keystore view as described in step 1 at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/b0/881e3e3986f701e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">CE library</a>. The NWA GUI suggested to export the view to PSE, because it was changed. Done.

The corresponding client certificates are installed into my browser.Nevertheless, the server does not ask for client sertificates when I'm pointing the browser to https://localhost:50101/ (there's no standard browser window with list of client certificates).

It seems, the server does not have any clue about my client certificates as it didn't found SAPSSLC.pse. The directory \sec has only SAPSSLS.pse in it. How could I generate SAPSSLC.pse file or what should I do then ?

Hi all there is some issue in the Demo scenerio which was  developed previously

when i am trying to test

I am configuring ADS on CE 7.2 with SSL.  I was able to get everything working before configuring SSL but now I have a problem.

It seems the communication between ABAP (serverA) and J2EE (serverB) is not working.

In CE, when I try to ping desitnation:  FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>  I get an error:   Error during ping operation: Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404.   I have this configured to use keystore view ADSCerts - ssl-credentials (with self-signed certificates for testing). But even when I change it to basic, it still doesn't ping.

Then when I try to test the SM59 connnection (ADS), I get the following error:  HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED

I have this set up as "DEFAULT SSL CLIENT (STANDARD)" -with 50001 as the system number.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

None of the PDF reports work.  I get errors:

I´m installing the SAP Netweaver Composition Environment 7.1 including

Enhancement Package 1 on Windows 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition and

Oracle 10.2.0.4.

When the sapinst run the task progress, in step "Install software unit"

I have the error:

DeployException:[ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1027]

SduLoadingException.

Reason: Please free some more disk space.; nested exception is:

com.sap.engine.services.dc.cm.deploy.NotEnoughDiskSpaceExcepion:

Usable free disk space bytes is less than

minimal number of bytes to operate . Please free some space.

I am doing some tests in WebDynpro and CAF Core services.

I have a piece of code as below that retrieves an entity from CAF Core for update. I need this entity to be locked during the update but the two methods lock() and unlock() do nothing. I can still access for update the same entity instance from another user.

This probably works if the transaction is happening within CAF service but I also need to lock entities from webdynpro when doing complex updates. In other words I am not willing to create a custom method in CAF service for each update I need to implement in webdynpro.

Any advice ? How are we supposed to use the class com.sap.tc.col.client.generic.api.LockStrategy ? I did not find much about this api.

I have installed SAP Web Dispatcher to test a simple, one host cluster environment and I am at the point of configuring it.  The documentation says:

It requires minimal configuration - you just have to enter the following data in the profile file:

Port, on which the HTTP(s) requests are to be received (parameter icm/server_port_<xx>)

Host and HTTP port of the SAP Message Server (parameter rdisp/mshost and parameter ms/http_port)

 Example

If you should be able to call the Web application externally, for example using the URL www.shop.acme.com, this host name must be mapped internally to the SAP Web dispatcher. This then forwards the HTTP(S) request to a suitable application servers.

End of the example.

Since I'm not experienced with NetWeaver configuration I need to know which profile file(s), specifically it's referring to and the syntax of the above.  Right now in the SCS profile I see:

So, what goes where - the rdisp/mshost and parameter ms/http_port in the SCS profile with what port?     What will parameter icm/server_port_<xx> actually look like given the Web Dispatcher instance number, etc.?  Once I get the basic functionality working, what about HTTPS/SSL?

I have a problem configuring SLL client certificate authentication for NW CE 7.1

I've configured ICM to use SSL and set VCLIENT = 1 in the Java instance profile:

After that I could create SSL-connection to the server using its server certificate.

Then I've tried to add some root CAs for client certificates to the ICM_SSL_<instance> keystore view as described in step 1 at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/b0/881e3e3986f701e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">CE library</a>. The NWA GUI suggested to export the view to PSE, because it was changed. Done.

The corresponding client certificates are installed into my browser.Nevertheless, the server does not ask for client sertificates when I'm pointing the browser to https://localhost:50101/ (there's no standard browser window with list of client certificates).

It seems, the server does not have any clue about my client certificates as it didn't found SAPSSLC.pse. The directory \sec has only SAPSSLS.pse in it. How could I generate SAPSSLC.pse file or what should I do then ?

I am using Netweaver 7.1 CE. I have configured SLD and started,and it is running. Now I went to crearte JCO destinations. When I tried to Start Assigned SLD  it is giving  a error. When I checked the Check SLD Connection  a pop up is comming and in it Hostname: *blank, port:+-1+, user: +blank,url:null://null:-1/sld*+

Help in solving this issue I need to do a start assigned SLD. I am attaching the error details
