Hi All -
I've deployed an updated software component archive (SCA) for an application, but would like to roll back to a previous version of the SCA. I saw some help guides on undeploying with NWDS, but I can't figure out how to access NWDS.
What other methods are available for undpeloying archives from NW CE 7.1, or how do I access NWDS to undeploy an archive?
Any information would be helpful.

We rebooted our Windows Server 2003 box, and can no longer get the Java application server to start up correctly. The igswd.exe process starts up, but the jstart.exe process goes through the following statuses and does not fully start.
The jstart.exe statuses follow the sequence below when trying to restart (obtained from SAP management console):
1. "Deploying Offline Components"
2. "Synchronizing Binaries"
3. "Stopped"
The status circle next to jstart.exe then turns grey, and nothing else happens.
Any information around diagnosing this issue would be greatly appreciated (e.g., any tips to potentially solve the problem, or tips to help identify the root cause of the problem).

I am attempting to install CE72 on 64 bit SOLARIS 10. I downloaded and passed the prerequisite check. The first thing I am prompted for is "Java Component NW72 (folder JAVA_J2EE_OSINDEP_UT)". I don't seem to have it. It is looking for a LABEL.ASC that contains "SAP:CE-UT:720:.." The closest thing I have is "SAP:CE:720:...". I saw a similar post for Linux which told the user to down load the WIn 32 CD's - 1 thru 7. I wouldn't think that would help for me.
Can someone who has installed the CE72 on SOLARIS tell me where to get the download with the LABEL.ASC containing "SAP:CE-UT:720:..."?

We are trying to configure SSO from our CE 7.2 system to our ERP 6.0 EhP4 system, such that we can use logon tickets for the ERP destination template. We have completed the following configuration:
1. Added the ERP system as a trusted system in CE 7.2
a. NWA --> Configuration Management --> Security --> Trusted Systems
b. Add Trusted System --> By Querying Trusted System
2. Exported the public key from CE and imported into ERP
a. NWA --> Configuration Management --> Security --> Certificates and Keys
b. Highlighted TicketKeystore, then SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert
c. Export Entry
d. Logged into client 000 of ERP system
e. STRUSTSS02
f. Imported certificate, adding it to both the certificate list and the ACL
3. Configure the Destination Template to Use Logon Tickets
a. NWA --> SOA Management --> Destination Template Management
b. Highlighed the ERP DT
c. Clicked on the Security tab
d. Selected the Logon Ticket radio button
We are using a very simple Visual Composer applciation to test the destination template. The VC app calls a service in the ERP system and returns data from a query. When we run the VC app, we are receiving the following error message:

We have Maintained Archiving and Deleting Settings for Guided Procedures Completed Instances to Delete them after 3 months under Guided Procedures -> Administration Workset -> Archiving and Deleting.
However , we noticed that completed instances older than 3 months are still visible in the Maintain Processes under GP -> Administration Workset and not getting Deleted.
When I checked the 'Monitor Archive Jobs'under Archiving and Deleting ,I saw that the Job to Delete Instances has failed several times with the Status showing as 'Delete failed' and Additional Information as :
com.sap.caf.eu.gp.base.exception.EngineException(null)
I wonder what is causing this.
Any help would be highly Appreciated.

my CAF Application is still running in the CAF test browser, and i get the right response and so on.
As soon as I create a webservice it doesn't run. Every time I've got an error msg (below), but I can't find the mistake.

At CE 7.2, he's currently only using the BPM part.

We have intially installed the single instance (J00) with the SCS instance on a single hostname in the SAP NW CE 7.2
Then we have installed another instance (J02) .
(i.e )
Qc1 --> Host
SCS01 -- SCS
J00 -- Application Server
J02 -- Application Server (additional )
After installing the another additional application server , after making a restart , when i try to acess the url : http ://host :portnumber .
Suddenly it cannot able to reach the port number : 50000
When i checked in jsmon , its not allowing me to check the process .
Its giving the below error :
JsfOpenShm failed: object not found
Cannot access shared memory.
Kindly suggest for the solution .

I have developed a web dynpro CO form, and I need to be able to upload a file in an action and then be able to download that file in further actions.. I have evaluated saving the file in the backend via RFC, in KM and also creating a CAF project.. but I think there must be a simpler way : saving it in the context of GP.

Dear all,
the last days I have spent some time trying to install CE7.1 and also CE711 EHP1. The installation itself worked great: no errors were reported during intallation. But somehow the instance CE1 never starts up completely. As I have found out, and so do many many many others, the problem lies in starting "jstart.EXE" (Please check your SAP Management Console: CE1 => matrix 0 => Process List).
The following behaviours I have monitored:
1. When trying to start the CE1 instance jstart.EXE tries to start but stops after a while. So the J2EE Server is not started. This behaviour is monitored and reported by many posts here at SDN, but it seems that "final" solution has been posted, which is valid for anyone. At least non of the hints could help me.
2. I have monitored that the status of jstart.EXE seems to hang at status "Starting the processes" (I have waited more than 25 minutes).
To all the experienced and anyone else:
PLEASE post all you hints here! This issues seems to be a very common issue and is not really solved. Other posts did not help me so far.
In my case (case 2 from above) I can provide the following information:
Today (December 3rd, 2008) I have installed CE7.1_SR5. Hardware requirements are fullfilled by 100%.
I have to mention that I have installed some old CE or NW J2EE version on the same system like about one year ago, and I uninstalled it after only one week.
Maybe what the jstart.EXE problems are somehow related to the license: does the "uninstallation" leave some data back in the system, which could be used by later installs in order to check the license (wich is only a 90 day license)?
Who can help?
What is your experience with jstart.EXE?
Any help is very welcome. I am sure not only for me!

Hi all,
I have installed my CE 711 SP1 and then patched it so SPS 6 via JSPM
Everything according to standard procedure, results are ok, the patching ran smoothly and MMC is all green after reboot.
Now when I try to access each and every application (including irj) I get these errors:
