Unknown Java AS user with permissions of deploy

$

hi,

I have to update a PRODUCTION Environment with Support Packages (unfortunately without a ready Quality one as mirror for testing them).

So, I'm trying to install again the same software someone else used for PRODUCTION, in a Quality server.

on

SO: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition SP2

I installed successfully SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1, but after launching JSPM to install SAP MII 12.1, I'm requested to insert login of an

Java AS user with deployment permissions.

In details I undestrood that the path to be followed, after activating Java AS and checking read rights of OS user on JSPM packages folder,

it should be:

1- launch the JSPM with OS <SAPSID>adm user;

2- insert Java AS user credentials with deployment permissions when requested (to log in to JSPM Server).

3- ...

n- ...

on step 2, even inserting user administrator and master password of NetWeaver installation, I cannot proceed.

Shouldn't it have those rights. How are them called and where can I assign them?

Looking at the logs of JSPM I found something like this:

Info: Connecting to Deploy Controller on host localhost port 50004 with user ce1adm.

Error: com.sap.engine.services.dc.api.ConnectionException: ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1144 NamingException.Cannot get initial context.

Reason: Exception during getInitialContext operation. Cannot establish connection to the remote server.

Info:DC API is trying to connect to 'localhost:50004'

Error: Exception ::SessionImpl::getContext():get ctx. NamingException, cause=Exception during getInitialContext operation. Cannot establish connection to the remote server.

Even if I try to "add" components starting from NetWeaver installation, I'm requested with a Java EE Administrator I cannot identify.

any ideas of what's happening?

Cannot ping destination FP_ICF_DATA_

I am configuring ADS on CE 7.2 with SSL. I was able to get everything working before configuring SSL but now I have a problem.

It seems the communication between ABAP (serverA) and J2EE (serverB) is not working.

In CE, when I try to ping desitnation: FP_ICF_DATA_<SID> I get an error: Error during ping operation: Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404. I have this configured to use keystore view ADSCerts - ssl-credentials (with self-signed certificates for testing). But even when I change it to basic, it still doesn't ping.

Then when I try to test the SM59 connnection (ADS), I get the following error: HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED

I have this set up as "DEFAULT SSL CLIENT (STANDARD)" -with 50001 as the system number.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

None of the PDF reports work. I get errors:

Test Program: Version Information (for Analysis Only)

I can bring up an HTTPS in the CE system: https://<serverB>:50001/

I get the warning: There is a problem with this website's security certificate, but if I click on "continue to this website", all is ok. I expect a warning since I am using the self signed certificates.

All help is much appreciated.

NW 7.3 Developer Workplace Installation

Hi,

We are planning to install NW 7.3 Developer Workplace on Windows with SQL Server 2008 as DB.

We went through the installation document, but we didn't able to find details on what software we will need to download from service market place, if we don't have DVDs.

Could some one suggest me the list of software components need to download to install NW 7.3 Developer Workplace on Windows (DB: SQL Server 2008)?

Thanks in advance.

Srinivas.

hi folks,

- We are working on a project about SharePoint 2010 integration with SAP. The project will use Single Sign On to authenticate between Sharepoint 2010 and SAP using ADFS. We expect that after end users login SharePoint 2010, they will integrate to SAP without login SAP again in Sharepoint system (using WebPart).

- I am seeking a documentation or an article so that it shows me how to configure ADFS for SAP.

- Please help me and let me know if you have any documentation about my expected things above.

Thank you

Use of External Library error

Hi,

I'm using CE7.1 SR3. I have created an external library DC which consists of jar files that are built using jdk 1.4.2_08. There is no error when I do a build on the DC.

However when I add the external library DC as dependency for my application ear DC, the following error is shown:

Processing dependency changes(Time of error:....)

An internal error occurred during "Processing dependency changes". java.lang.NullPointerException

The external library DC is still added into list of dependencies and when I do a build on the application ear DC, the build result has the following warnings:

WARNING: Runtime dependency to "<external library dc>" will be ignored because of an incompatible type.

WARNING: Deploy-time dependency to "<external library dc>" will be ignored because of an incompatible type.

When I try to deploy my ear dc, it gives the following error message:

An error occurred while deploying the deployment item <ear dc> nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.dc.gd.DeliveryException: ERROR CODE DPL.DC:3297 An error occurred during deployment of sdu id: <ear dc> sdu file path: <ear dc path>

Can anyone help? Need to resolve it urgently. Thanks.

Configuring SLD for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SR5

Hello,

I'm trying to register my CE 7.1 tril version into an external SLD.

I have configured destinations SLD_DataSupplier and SLD_Client (Ping ok), but when I'm trying to do "Collect and Send Data", I get following error:

Collect and Send Data failed: Data transfer failed. Failed to Send Data. Target URL: http://zzz /sld/ds, Status: 401, Message: Unauthorized

What could be the problem here?

Thanks in advance!

Can we create an Ad Hoc workflow from a GP task listed in UWL?

Dear All,

Can we create an Ad Hoc Work flow from tasks which are generated using Guided procedures? If UWL does not provide this information can we some how implement the concept of Ad Hoc work flow from each step? The advantage is that when a person gets a task in his plate, he can create an Ad Hoc Workflow to take care of the request within their respective department for reviews and sub reviews.

Thank You,

Mansoor.

Unknown Java AS user with permissions of deploy

1- launch the JSPM with OS <SAPSID>adm user;

I have a new installatoin of Compositon Environment 7.2. When I try to access http://<serverIP>:50000/irj/portal I get a 403 Forbidden error. I am not asked to log in.

Automatic configuration (http://<serverIP>:50000/sld/fun) failed. (I have no trouble accessing this screen or NWA after logging in.) Maybe this is part of the problem. What are the configuration steps that need to be performed manaually?

How to create custom GP runtime view with GP public api?

$

SAP documentation on the topic says we can do it (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/cf/9a8041efd21b09e10000000a155106/frameset.htm). I've been told to use GPRuntimeManager.getInstance().getProcessInstance() to get the process information in my custom runtime view. GPRuntimeManager doesn't exist in my gp api jar (SP7)file. Also, the "add custom view" button in GP Design time is grey/inactive.

I'm pretty much clueless as to how to proceed on this.

I wish there was a how-to guide for it. Has anyone managed to create a custom GP runtime view using the GP public api yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did anybody use Interactive Form/File Approval

$

Hi,

I have a GP process in which the first action sends an interactive form by email to the processor. This guy downloads and sends it back to the process. Now I want to show this form to an approver and give him the ability to approve or reject. There is a standard callable object of type "Interactive Form/File Approval"..

According to the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/0f/619fd378a641b29386063019c24fc4/content.htm

Used for displaying online an interactive form or file that can be approved or rejected.

● For interactive forms, you can use it in a process in which an interactive form is sent by e-mail. As soon as the form is submitted back to the system, the receiver can view it, save a copy of the form, and depending on his or her decision, can approve or reject it.

This callable is expecting the following input:

Name - String

Content Type - String

Size - Long integer

Content - Binary

Adapter Name - String

How can I pass this binary input.. When I submit my PDF to GP, I am submitting to the standard gp servlet..

Did any one succesfully use this callable object? Is there a tutorial on this (I searched but could not find any).

Thanks

Ram
