Hello Experts,

when we access our SAP-System using the Logon-Language German we got sometimes an error message that says that there is no Update-Server is available. ("Kein Verbuchungs-Server für Kontext :D: gefunden")

After doing some research I figured out (in Transaction SM14) that the update-server just supports the Language English 'E'. But I need the German Language 'D' too . In Transaction smlt the German language is installed correctly.

It seems that there are no documentation available that describes howto change / add a language support for an Update-Server?

Can someone tell me howto add an additional language for an update-server? Or howto reinstall the update-server again?

I'm using SAP_BASIS version SAPKB70204.

I've created a Webservice how descripted in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/de/24/186440bdd39a0ae10000000a155106/content.htm. Now I try to import it in NWDS. I followed the step by step guide "81 Using a Web Service as External Service (Service)".

My WDSL file of my webservice is available over http://server:8000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/Z_MPO_XRFC_CAFTESTBO_GETBYNAME?wsdl

When I try to use this url in step 4 (page 13) I get the following message:

Cannot Load WebService WSDL from URI: http://server:8000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/Z_MPO_XRFC_CAFTESTBO_GETBYNAME?wsdl reason: IO Exception occurred while parsing file:Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL:

http://server:8000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/Z_MPO_XRFC_CAFTESTBO_GETBYNAME?wsdl

The HTTP errorcode means "no authorisation". But why does the NWDS don't ask for user and password?

Any ideas?

Dear Sirs,

I have created a Guided Procedure on EP7.0 SP10. This works very well in DEV system. However after transporation to QA, done using the SDM and a local SCA file. After the deployment i have released the objects.

I get the following error on the bottom of my GP runtime screen when running the process.

"Cannot display the iView. The iView may have been removed, the path may be incorrect, or you may not have permission to access it. "

Can anyone point to any relevant notes, documents etc? Does anyone have any suggestion as to where the error may be. Could it be related to the transport or is it something wrong with GP on the QA system?

Might add that if i press complete step, the step is completed however, the message is now displayed twice. If I go to a webdynpro application e.g Useradmin in portal I get the same line. If I log out and back in again it disapears from the useradmin until I run a GP once more.

I just need to make a simple GP .

I have 3 actions each of which hold a Callable Obj (a VC screen with simple buttons)

Normally when we go through a set of actions in a block , once the previous action is over , it displays as Action Completed .

But I want to go back to the previous action.

In 7.0 , we could define the Result States for each action and then change the target .

But in 7.1 that doesnt work.

So how do I do that now .

Can I put all the actions in one block and then switch or do I need to put them in seperate blocks and then do something.

Please reply if anyone has any knowledge about this

I tried to install SAP EHP1 NetWeaver CE7.1 32 bit version in Windows 7 OS.

I'm getting the following error:

Using custom value info for property SAPINST_MESSAGE_CONSOLE_THRESHOLD.

In one of the thread i found that we need to share the "saploc" and give full control to administrator and sap_localadmin. I tried doing that but even then as soon as i click retry the installation gets stopped.

Could anyone please help me on what needs to be done.

I have JDK 1.6.0_27 installed. I have SQL Server 2005 on my system.

How is this different from NWDS_platform.zip?

I am new to GP, and i need your help to design my GP.I am a web dynpro developer . I want very basic process to be implemented through GP as follows

1) Employee gets a UI screen for filling some requisition form (in WD java) which wud hit R3

2) Employee's supervisor can Approve / Reject requisition . (UI in WD JAVA)

3) Employee should get a summary of whole process  (Again UI in WD JAVA).

When i am creating calling object for above process and under UI category there are two different type of callable object for wd java

1 ) Web dynpro component (GP interface)

2)  Web dynpro application

when i am creating ( Web dynpro application ) callable object , its giving me error , maybe some config problem .

can anyone just guide me how to implement above process or give me some material through GP (WD java UI) and whats diff between two kinds of callable object.Thanks in advance.

I used adaptive Web service to import one remote Service and use this Service in my Application Service.

Server: SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Enh.

After the deployment  I got the following error:

I noticed that the item has the field <DateFrom> which no value is filled. Is this the reason that causes this problem? If it is, how can I get the result in this case without occuring this error. Because we get always Items from the backend that some fields were not filled.

I am configuring ADS on CE 7.2 with SSL.  I was able to get everything working before configuring SSL but now I have a problem.

It seems the communication between ABAP (serverA) and J2EE (serverB) is not working.

In CE, when I try to ping desitnation:  FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>  I get an error:   Error during ping operation: Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404.   I have this configured to use keystore view ADSCerts - ssl-credentials (with self-signed certificates for testing). But even when I change it to basic, it still doesn't ping.

Then when I try to test the SM59 connnection (ADS), I get the following error:  HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED

I have this set up as "DEFAULT SSL CLIENT (STANDARD)" -with 50001 as the system number.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hello experts,

while starting the SAP-System (CE 7.1, local AS Java) in the default trace several errors occurs. The error message is "Cannot connect to jdbc:sapdb://<host>/<DB> [Time out]". With the command line tool I'am able to access the database. It's also possible to start the configtool. But if I try to access NWA, error 503 appears.

I have a new installatoin of Compositon Environment 7.2. When I try to access http://<serverIP>:50000/irj/portal I get a 403 Forbidden error. I am not asked to log in.

Automatic configuration (http://<serverIP>:50000/sld/fun) failed. (I have no trouble accessing this screen or NWA after logging in.)  Maybe this is part of the problem. What are the configuration steps that need to be performed manaually?

I am trying to add the Guided Procedure folder and callable object in to transport request thru the GP Admin via portal. I connected to the back-end R/3 endpoint and given the package information for including the transport request. But system throws the following error "Cannot export transport request: com.sap.caf.eu.gp.base.exception.EngineException: Function module EUP_TSP_REQUEST_CREATE does not exist". When I checked in the back-end system, I could able to see only 3 Function modules starting with EUP*, and not finding the FM EUP_TSP_REQUEST_CREATE . Any idea about this FM ?

We expect that after end users login SharePoint 2010, they will integrate to SAP without login SAP again in Sharepoint system (using WebPart).

- I am seeking a documentation or an article so that it shows me how to configure ADFS for SAP.

I've deployed an updated software component archive (SCA) for an application, but would like to roll back to a previous version of the SCA.  I saw some help guides on undeploying with NWDS, but I can't figure out how to access NWDS.

What other methods are available for undpeloying archives from NW CE 7.1, or how do I access NWDS to undeploy an archive?

Any information would be helpful.

The only obvious error in the trace file is on the 4th line down, which states:

*F  [Thr 4464] *** WARNING => Node server0 failed: result 2, exit code -1501. [sfxxnode.hpp 1005]*

I've searched everywhere I can think of (OSS, SDN, Google, colleagues) for an answer, but cannot find anything. All I can find is that it's a framework error and probably down to a manager not starting. How do I tell which manager is causing the failure?

Can anyone help?

Hi experts,

                   I am installing CE7.2, While installing at one stage we will give Database ID (DBSID) and Database Host, for this i given                        

                                  DBSID : CEX

                              DB Host  : cex.myenteg.com (automatically came)

                 I am giving next but I am geeting a error message as

     "This computer's host name is 'cex.myenteg.com' but a reverse lookup returned 'cex'. This will lead to problems later on when starting the Web Application Server. SOLUTION: Insert a line: '127.0.0.1 cex.myenteg.com' into the host file '/etc/hosts', and then continue with the installation".        

                But I added same thing into host file also but also I am getting same error message. Please help me.

We are doing a NW CE 7.1 distributed install using a remote Oracle Database.

We are attempting to install a database instance in the LORD domain

that accesses an Oracle database server in the MAIN domain.

In our SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME environment variable we put a fully

qualified name of the Oracle Server - SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME =

winoragvs01.main.lord.com.

When we do this it fails with the error: u201CThis computeru2019s host name

is u201Cwinoragvs01.main.lord.comu201D but a reverse lookup

returned u201Cwinoragvs01u201D.

Can you tell me how sapinst does a reverse lookup? And how we can get

by this error?
