Hi all,

I have a problem configuring SLL client certificate authentication for NW CE 7.1

I've configured ICM to use SSL and set VCLIENT = 1 in the Java instance profile:

After that I could create SSL-connection to the server using its server certificate.

Then I've tried to add some root CAs for client certificates to the ICM_SSL_<instance> keystore view as described in step 1 at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/b0/881e3e3986f701e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">CE library</a>. The NWA GUI suggested to export the view to PSE, because it was changed. Done.

The corresponding client certificates are installed into my browser.Nevertheless, the server does not ask for client sertificates when I'm pointing the browser to https://localhost:50101/ (there's no standard browser window with list of client certificates).

It seems, the server does not have any clue about my client certificates as it didn't found SAPSSLC.pse. The directory \sec has only SAPSSLS.pse in it. How could I generate SAPSSLC.pse file or what should I do then ?

Hi all there is some issue in the Demo scenerio which was  developed previously

Hi  Jim Farney ,

We have intially installed the single instance (J00) with the SCS instance on a single hostname  in the SAP NW CE 7.2

Then we have installed another instance (J02) .

(i.e )

Qc1 --> Host

SCS01 -- SCS

J00 -- Application Server

J02 -- Application Server  (additional )

After installing the another additional application server , after making a restart , when i try to acess the url : http ://host :portnumber .

Suddenly it cannot able to reach the port number : 50000

When i checked in jsmon , its not allowing me to check the process .

Its giving the below error :

   JsfOpenShm failed: object not found

  Cannot access shared memory.

Kindly suggest for the solution .

I installed yesterday NW2004s (700 - Codeline 645)(BS8.4).  Now I can't create a callable object with Data Forms Input. Under Data Forms I could only find 4 types:

Data Input Form, Data Display Form, Data Display and Acknowlegement and File Input Form.

What's wrong?

Hi all ,

I just need to make a simple GP .

I have 3 actions each of which hold a Callable Obj (a VC screen with simple buttons)

Normally when we go through a set of actions in a block , once the previous action is over , it displays as Action Completed .

But I want to go back to the previous action.

In 7.0 , we could define the Result States for each action and then change the target .

But in 7.1 that doesnt work.

So how do I do that now .

Can I put all the actions in one block and then switch or do I need to put them in seperate blocks and then do something.

Please reply if anyone has any knowledge about this

Hi,

I've got a question about table components in webdynpro for java 7.1 (CE).

How can you make sure when a user clicks anywhere in a table cell,, the entire row is selected?

This used to be default in 7.0.

Currently when a user needs to select a row, he or she has to click on the square in front of the row.

This is not really user friendly.

I can't seem to find an option to enable row selection on the entire row and not just the square.

My coleague have installed fresh installation of NWDS SPS15 and the same example on his installation work fine. All building proccesses are successfully executed. I tried it several times, everytime same result. I tried to use fresh workspace, tried to delete whole content in ./dtc.

I compared every file with coleague installation. But no success. I am running out of ideas what should I do with it.

If anyone was facing similar problem or have any idea. I will be glad to read it.

I've deployed an updated software component archive (SCA) for an application, but would like to roll back to a previous version of the SCA.  I saw some help guides on undeploying with NWDS, but I can't figure out how to access NWDS.

What other methods are available for undpeloying archives from NW CE 7.1, or how do I access NWDS to undeploy an archive?

Any information would be helpful.

Hello all NWCE experts, our NWCE 7.2 is on Win and running Oracle 11.2. And we have the application data on another database server. So we have two databases for this system. We want to move the current NWCE DB to another server. This DB is very small in size mainly for NWCE data only. So my question is since it is a purely Java system, is that all we need to do is to use the configtool to change the where the database is located and that's it. And does anyone know the places where we need to change.

Or better do a db backup and reinstall NWCE, choose the new DB location from start and restall the database after that, would be the cleaniness way.

Hi, SDN Experts.

We find that the "Attachment" icon link actually involves too much "clicks" and "navigation to another views". So, we custom developed a Web Dynpro Component implementing GP Interface, with GP Attachment API to achieve the document upload and attachment purpose. And we also restrict the atatchment to one instead of multiple attachments.

Now, we want to remove the "Atatchment" icon link at the top of the GP Process Runtime View.

In GP Design Time, I tried to configure Runtime View so that it does not displaying the "Attachment" icon link, but I could not find one Generic View available for this option.

I wonder if I can custom configure a new Runtime View that is without the "Attachment" icon link?

Or is that any other alternative I can use to achieve the same purpose, including custom development of the runtime view?

I want to download NWDS 7.1 but not only the "90 days version". Of course I know link to the 90-days Trial/Preview version (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/20877bcc-bb51-2b10-aa8b-8308ed488199[original link is broken]).

I have already tried to find something at the sap marketplace (service.sap.com), but I cannot find a "FULL" installation file for NWDS 7.1, only for NWDS 7.0 I can find the full installation file.

Can anyone tell me where exactly (link!) I can download the Complete NWDS 7.1 installer? SDN or marketplace links are both fine...

I installed yesterday NW2004s (700 - Codeline 645)(BS8.4).  Now I can't create a callable object with Data Forms Input. Under Data Forms I could only find 4 types:

Data Input Form, Data Display Form, Data Display and Acknowlegement and File Input Form.

What's wrong?

Hi all,

I have a problem configuring SLL client certificate authentication for NW CE 7.1

I've configured ICM to use SSL and set VCLIENT = 1 in the Java instance profile:

After that I could create SSL-connection to the server using its server certificate.

Then I've tried to add some root CAs for client certificates to the ICM_SSL_<instance> keystore view as described in step 1 at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/b0/881e3e3986f701e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">CE library</a>. The NWA GUI suggested to export the view to PSE, because it was changed. Done.

The corresponding client certificates are installed into my browser.Nevertheless, the server does not ask for client sertificates when I'm pointing the browser to https://localhost:50101/ (there's no standard browser window with list of client certificates).

It seems, the server does not have any clue about my client certificates as it didn't found SAPSSLC.pse. The directory \sec has only SAPSSLS.pse in it. How could I generate SAPSSLC.pse file or what should I do then ?

I am configuring ADS on CE 7.2 with SSL.  I was able to get everything working before configuring SSL but now I have a problem.

It seems the communication between ABAP (serverA) and J2EE (serverB) is not working.

In CE, when I try to ping desitnation:  FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>  I get an error:   Error during ping operation: Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404.   I have this configured to use keystore view ADSCerts - ssl-credentials (with self-signed certificates for testing). But even when I change it to basic, it still doesn't ping.

Then when I try to test the SM59 connnection (ADS), I get the following error:  HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED

I have this set up as "DEFAULT SSL CLIENT (STANDARD)" -with 50001 as the system number.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I am very new to SOA and CAF...

I have used the MDM web service generator to create a web service - Let's call it "Updater". I Now need to create a wrapper web service that calls "Updater" but also does some more advanced processing before returning the result. So basically SA PI will call the wrapper WS which will in turn call the Updater WS.

How do I go about this?

I have created a CAF project in NWDS 7.2. While in the "Service" perspective, I clicked on the "external" node and imported the web service by specifying the WSDL. This was done correctly.

Now I have no idea where to go - How do I create my own web service to consume the updater WS?

I realize this is a very basic question, so please forgive my ignorance...
