Hello everybody,

we started with our first EJB project on CE 7.2 and straight run into a deployment issue.

I created a simple EJB 2.1 test project with just one session and one entity bean and deployed it. The result is the message "Deploy finished with warnings" and the following exception when the server try's to start the application:

I searched for the error code ejb_7007 in notes, this forum and via Google, but without any success.

Any idea how I can troubleshoot this?

Im trying to Display the list of "software component versions" of the SLD in the ES Builder, but it shows me the following error: "Coud not read list of software component versions from SLD - COULD_NOT_READ_SWCV - User credentials are invalid or users is denied access".

  Please, any idea?

We have intially installed the single instance (J00) with the SCS instance on a single hostname  in the SAP NW CE 7.2

Then we have installed another instance (J02) .

(i.e )

Qc1 --> Host

SCS01 -- SCS

J00 -- Application Server

J02 -- Application Server  (additional )

After installing the another additional application server , after making a restart , when i try to acess the url : http ://host :portnumber .

Suddenly it cannot able to reach the port number : 50000

When i checked in jsmon , its not allowing me to check the process .

Its giving the below error :

   JsfOpenShm failed: object not found

  Cannot access shared memory.

Kindly suggest for the solution .

However, i cannot find the sapxi3rdparty.sar... Is the location changed or does my OS id not have enough rights? I was able to download the sp stack for updating from SP01 to SP04... Are the above sda's in those sca's somewhere maybe?

I have installed SAP Web Dispatcher to test a simple, one host cluster environment and I am at the point of configuring it.  The documentation says:

It requires minimal configuration - you just have to enter the following data in the profile file:

Port, on which the HTTP(s) requests are to be received (parameter icm/server_port_<xx>)

Host and HTTP port of the SAP Message Server (parameter rdisp/mshost and parameter ms/http_port)

 Example

If you should be able to call the Web application externally, for example using the URL www.shop.acme.com, this host name must be mapped internally to the SAP Web dispatcher. This then forwards the HTTP(S) request to a suitable application servers.

End of the example.

Since I'm not experienced with NetWeaver configuration I need to know which profile file(s), specifically it's referring to and the syntax of the above.  Right now in the SCS profile I see:

I'm trying to integrate JSF components into Web DynPro using WebDynproJsfBridge UI element (new feature in CE7.1). Integration must cover custom objects manipulation between components, pages navigation, etc.

Does anyone have real experience of such task?

Error "There are no UI elements which can be inserted in the aggregation WebDynproJsfItem" is shown (during inserting item into WebDynproJsfBridge ).

Please, provide steps for adding JSF components or other way of interaction between JSF and Web DynPro.

I want to install NWDS on my Windows 7 64-bit OS. I searched for suitable NWDS(like 7.0, CE7.1, CE7.2 along with their trial versions), but they were available only for 32-bit Windows.

Can you please provide some links where I can download NWDS for 64 bit Windows(any trial version)? I want to learn BPM and WDJ.

I've deployed an updated software component archive (SCA) for an application, but would like to roll back to a previous version of the SCA.  I saw some help guides on undeploying with NWDS, but I can't figure out how to access NWDS.

What other methods are available for undpeloying archives from NW CE 7.1, or how do I access NWDS to undeploy an archive?

Hi,

I'm trying to install CE 7.2 on AIX.

When running sapinst, I can select Standard System but when I press <Next>, sapinst hangs. There is no error at all. Only thing I can see is " Finished reading xml files".

I tried several things but without succes. Even when I try to run prerequsite check from "Preparations" menu in sapinst, he hangs with no error at all but with the same message: "Finished reading xml files".

I red the installation guide and SAP Notes mentioned there but I couldn't find anything about this. All ulimits are set correctly.

Does anybody knows how to resolve this?
