Now I started my installation of CE7.2, i middle it is asking java component java component NW72 (cd label SAP:CE-UT:720:) I tried in service market place but I can't able to find that one please kindly provide the path of that, I strucked in that step.
I am doing this in RHEL5-Linux 64 bit and Oracle database.

Now we need to set up a system at offshore as well.I couldnt find an NWDS version of the afore said 7.01.03 so i got NWDS 7.1 EHP1 SP4 Preview version from SDN .I would like to ask you if this version is compatible with the NW 7.0.1 SP3. You can also suggest me a more compatible version of NWDS or a place in SDN where i can look up for the compatibility between NWDS and the NW .

We expect that after end users login SharePoint 2010, they will integrate to SAP without login SAP again in Sharepoint system (using WebPart).

I've searched everywhere I can think of (OSS, SDN, Google, colleagues) for an answer, but cannot find anything. All I can find is that it's a framework error and probably down to a manager not starting. How do I tell which manager is causing the failure?

Hi Experts,
As per my scenario, i need to call the approval process on some actions.
I have created one proxy class for my GP process and using method start_process of that class, I am instantiating the process using it.
Also have created port and everythg
For this i have created one report in se38 and i am calling that proxy method in there.
It ask for ID and Password and works fine and instantiates.
But if i try the same thing in my Webdynpro ABAP Application, it doesnt ask for ID and Password and gives an exception:
SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")
There is something which i am missing before trying the same in Webdynpro ABAP application.
Please help me with this as early as possible.

for POC I installed a CE 7.1 Server. After installing it i tried to use the in the Composition Platform included VC. I've got errors as described in my other thread (here: Errors in VC after installation). Than I decided to upgrade the whole CE System. Hoping that the error may vanish. But I have problems upgrading the system. In fact the following packages throw errors. (Container ... is not active..):

Now, if i look at the Application "cafeugpexampletimeoff~def" it has the status "Failed to start". If I now start the service "caf/eu/gp/model", and start the named application again it starts fine. But during the deployment of the package GP-CORE the server-instance is restarted and the service "caf/eu/gp/model" doesn't start again automaticaly. And because of this the corresponding application canno't be started and the deployment doesn't work.
Has anyone an idea how to fix this?
I have a new installatoin of Compositon Environment 7.2. When I try to access http://<serverIP>:50000/irj/portal I get a 403 Forbidden error. I am not asked to log in.

I want to install NWDS on my Windows 7 64-bit OS. I searched for suitable NWDS(like 7.0, CE7.1, CE7.2 along with their trial versions), but they were available only for 32-bit Windows.
Can you please provide some links where I can download NWDS for 64 bit Windows(any trial version)? I want to learn BPM and WDJ.

How is this different from NWDS_platform.zip?

while starting the SAP-System (CE 7.1, local AS Java) in the default trace several errors occurs. The error message is "Cannot connect to jdbc:sapdb://<host>/<DB> [Time out]". With the command line tool I'am able to access the database. It's also possible to start the configtool. But if I try to access NWA, error 503 appears.

Hi,
We are stucked up in upgrading ce 7.1 to SP07. The server side has completed successfully, but upgrading of the developer studio doesn't work. After installation of the studio, the basic version is now:
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP07 PAT0000

ok, that's fine. But then i tried to install all sap plugins but the versions on the server are still SP06. SP06 packages can not applied to SP07 studio version. Error msg:
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Java EE (8.0.60000.080516153010) requires feature "com.sap.netweaver.developerstudio.ce.platform (8.0.60000.080516153010)".
Even on the offical SAP site there are no SP07 packages (https://nwds.sap.com/swdc/downloads/updates/netweaver/nwds/ce/710).
So, for me it looks like that the marketing has released SP07 rather than the development.
Any suggestions?

We are in the early stages of starting a CE project where we expect a high volume of web service calls per day (e.g. customer master service, material master service, pricing service, order creation service etc).
Are there any best-practice guidelines which could be taken into account to avoid any possible performance problems within the web service u201Cinfrastructureu201D?
Should master data normally residing in the backend ECC server be duplicated outside ECC?
e.g. if individual reads of the master data in the backend system take 2 seconds per call, would it be more efficient to duplicate the master data on the SAP AS Java server, or elsewhere u2013 if the master data is expected to be read thousands of times each day.
Also, what kind of benchmarking tools (SAP std or 3rd party) are available to assess the performance of the different layers of the infrastructure during integration + volume testing phases?
I've tried looking for any such documentation on SDN, OSS, help.sap.com, but to no avail.

DB Host : cex.myenteg.com (automatically came)
I am giving next but I am geeting a error message as
"This computer's host name is 'cex.myenteg.com' but a reverse lookup returned 'cex'. This will lead to problems later on when starting the Web Application Server. SOLUTION: Insert a line: '127.0.0.1 cex.myenteg.com' into the host file '/etc/hosts', and then continue with the installation".
But I added same thing into host file also but also I am getting same error message. Please help me.

I'm trying to install NW CE 7.1 SP5 on Linux/MaxDB.
The OS is RedHat EL 5.
I've chosen all standard options, nothing custom/exotic.
When entering the database parameters I enter sap.mycompany.com as Database Host.
Then I get an error message saying:
This computer's host name is sap.mycompany.com but a reverse lookup returned 'sap'. This will lead to problems later on when starting the Web application server. SOLUTION: Insert a line ' 127.0.0.1 sap.mycompany.com' into the host file etc/hosts, and then continue with the installation.
The solution doesn't work and we're stuck here.

We are doing a NW CE 7.1 distributed install using a remote Oracle Database.
We are attempting to install a database instance in the LORD domain
that accesses an Oracle database server in the MAIN domain.
In our SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME environment variable we put a fully
qualified name of the Oracle Server - SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME =
winoragvs01.main.lord.com.
When we do this it fails with the error: u201CThis computeru2019s host name
is u201Cwinoragvs01.main.lord.comu201D but a reverse lookup
returned u201Cwinoragvs01u201D.
Can you tell me how sapinst does a reverse lookup? And how we can get
by this error?
